D.J. Edwards was born in 1981 and was raised in church. At 6 years old he gave his heart to the Lord and immediately began to evangelize his elementary school because of an intense burden for souls.

At 11 he officially went into the ministry, performing "magic" shows at churches and events and following them with the plan of salvation and an altar call. Over the next few years literally thousands responded with decisions for Jesus.

At 16 years old he had an experience with the Lord that would radically change his life. He was driving home from a friends' house when he lifted his hand to praise the Lord. (He had never done this before as his church didn't worship that way). Bro. Edwards said, I lifted my hand and the next thing I knew, I woke up and I was almost to my house, eight miles from where I lifted my hand. He could feel a physical, tangible, presence and power washing all over, inside and outside of his body.

From that point on the burden for souls instantly multiplied, as well as a desire to see people physically healed. Suddenly with no effort of his own he began to PREACH!

He realized that there is much more of God than what any of us know. This lit a hunger in his heart to pursue all of what God has. Many great revival services followed with many being saved and healed..

In 2004, along with his family and some friends, he founded, The River Worship Centre, in Park Hills, MO, which remains the headquarters for D.J. Edwards Ministries.

In 2005, He married his wife, Rose, who is passionate in serving the Lord along side of him and ministering in a powerful anointing for music. She leads the praise and worship at The River and also travels with Bro. Edwards.

In May of 2007, they were blessed with the beautiful gift of a baby girl, Moriah Elise, who already sings and preaches every night at home as Bro. and Sis Edwards try to go to sleep. She is a tremendous joy.

Now the call is to reach the world with the Gospel! Bro. Edwards plans to wear out for Jesus, preaching this message it until he goes home.
